Digital Stories
A digital story is a two to five minute multi-media narrative that uses photos, video clips, art, and sound to share a personal life story. Digital stories are a meaningful product, videos that include voices that are under-represented and are created through a meaningful process, a participatory media workshop that encourages individual self-reflection and growth.
The SEPT Team has been offering Digital Storytelling Workshops for youth as:
- Tool for learning digital literacy skills
- Improve English language skills
- Develop emotional, intellectual, creative and communication skills
- Celebrate successes and lessons learned
- Opportunity for personal and community healing
- Offer a creative outlet for individual and collective sharing
