Youth Leadership
Youth leadership helps high school newcomers build confidence, make friends, and get involved in their new community/school. It’s about learning how to lead through teamwork, communication, and creative ideas. By joining projects and activities, such as the NOW Program as a Peer Leader, youth can discover their strengths and make a real impact. It’s a great way to grow, connect, and feel at home in a new environment.
All Selected Peer Leaders will get volunteer hours and a certificate of completion.
Talk to your school settlement worker if you’re interested in becoming a NOW Peer Leader or joining other Youth Leadership programs.
