CCS SWIS PROGRAM
Settlement Workers in Schools (SWIS)
Formely known as SEPT (Settlement and Education Partnership in Toronto).
The SWIS program is available and accessible to all families, parents, and students of the Toronto District School Board (TDSB) and the Toronto Catholic District School Board (TCDSB) through lead agencies in Toronto, such as TNO, NYCH, CICS, and CultureLink. It is funded by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) and operates in partnership with the Toronto Public Library (TPL).
In Scarborough, Catholic Crosscultural Services (CCS) serves as the SWIS lead agency.
